Doreen Nice had stables and lived in Risbygate St. I lived round the corner in Westkley Rd., upto the age of 13. I was asked to act as one of the squires for her in the pageant in 1959 in Bury St Edmunds. This is me with Rufus. She had another horse and I believe Sally??? was a squire to that one.
